Shared parenting is best for children

Support group Families Need Fathers Scotland said parents must find better ways to end conflict so that their children can escape the damage and benefit from the support of fathers and mothers, something that was often lost in modern society.
Ian Maxwell, head of the charity, said evidence heard at the Two Homes conference that equal parenting time benefits children the greatest, reducing the emotional impact of their parents separation and is beneficial to society.
